Dear friends

In this edition, we look forward to surprising you once again with some exciting news. We are particularly excited about our new tour in Berlin-Schöneberg. After three years, it was finally time to launch a new tour in Berlin. In addition, we have expanded our team and recruited reinforcements at our offices. Today you’ll also find a recipe for homemade raspberry ice cream, while our franchisee in Münster, Maren Kampmann, will be telling us about the Münster lifestyle in our blog. Happy reading!

New in Berlin: Discover Schöneberg’s culinary side

While outside it looks like summer has not quite got going yet, we haven’t been sitting around, twiddling our thumbs, but have instead been busily working on our new tour. We are delighted to finally present our third tour in Berlin, in wonderful Schöneberg.  From 26 August (the tour’s premiere), we’ll be accompanying you on the trail of Schöneberg’s culinary pearls, along with this exciting district’s cultural and historical side. In addition to seven delicious tasting sessions featuring food from around the world, ranging from hearty to sweet, you will also learn a great deal about the history, culture and people of this multifaceted district.

New team: Welcome to Jenny and Alex!

For a few weeks now, our team has had reinforcements, and we are glad to have Jenny and Alex helping us to the best of their ability with their professional expertise, great ideas and sense of fun. Regular readers of our blog may already be familiar with the pair and their culinary tastes. For everyone else, a link to our team page and their brief profiles can be found here:

We look forward to great times ahead with Jenny and Alex!

Raspberry ice cream - simply delicious

On a hot day, there’s nothing better than ice-cold refreshment. When it’s something sweet, delicious and fruity, it’s great to nibble on cooler days too. We have therefore published a very simple recipe on our blog for gorgeous raspberry ice cream, which you can simply melt into and tastes great, not only on hot days.  All that is needed are raspberries, sugar and cream. If this has tickled your taste buds,

Maren, our Münster franchisee, blogs

After an exciting start in Münster, Maren Kampmann has now sent us an article for our blog reporting on the lifestyle found in her home town of Münster: Münster is already very well-known and popular with many people, but what is particularly unique to this beautiful city is the number of bicycles. Barely any other city has as many bicycles per capita as Münster, with around 500,000 bikes in a city of nearly 280,000 inhabitants.

Behind the scenes: a photoshoot with our founder

In July, eat-the-world’s founder, Elke Freimuth, was nominated for Myself magazine’s “Editor’s Choice” award. The report will most likely appear in the next edition of the magazine, with readers then voting for the winner from among the nominations. We are very excited and will keep you informed. You’ll find a sneak peek behind the scenes of the photoshoot here:

We look forward to your votes!
