Walking Tour Munich-Glockenbach Quarter: Exciting it-district for trend setters and night owls
Join us on a guided culinary tour of the Glockenbach Quarter in the southern city center of Munich, where the entertainment area has evolved from a poor working class neighborhood in the 90’s to a hip nightlife district today. The area is also home to the famous Müllerstraße where the gay and lesbian community settled.

The bustling area and its surrounding side streets offer up a myriad of cute cafés, charming boutiques, and modern restaurants to browse through at your leisure. The Glockenbach Quarter has a colorful neighborhood culture, which is especially evident in its street festivals and artistic handcraftsmanship shops. Find out more about the State Theater, the Neue Arena movie theater (which has been around since 1913), and the Old South Cemetery, where many famous personalities now rest.

The Glockenbach Quarter is not only one of the most popular nightlife and entertainment districts in Munich, but is—with its many well-maintained old buildings—also the most densely populated residential area, and here art truly is a way of life. Explore a whole new side of the neighborhood and city as you discover the culinary and cultural highlights with us!
