Walking Tour Berlin-Friedenau: Quiet artists' quarter with a tranquil atmosphere
Come along on a culinary city tour through the charming and peaceful Friedenau neighborhood, whose cozy ambiance is a bit of a phenomenon given that the subway and highway are bordered and intersected by major thoroughfares. The mix of simple country houses, high-rise apartment buildings, and many lovingly planted front gardens dominates the backdrop of Friedenau.

It is also known as the artists' quarter, as many artists, writers, scientists, and politicians lived here. Learn more about the district’s famous residents, discover what’s so special about the arrangement of the streets and squares of Friedenau, and explore the impressive Goerz Courtyards.

In addition to its beautiful old buildings and colorful history, the neighborhood has so many culinary delights to offer. Discover the attractive area of Berlin which even until today has remained a hot tip with the locals, yet still unknown to visitors: Friedenau!

You will find an exciting range of culinary stations on your tour, such as:

  • a market stall with Swabian delicacies
  • an Italian café
  • a Korean snack bar
  • a wine lover’s gourmet shop
  • a pastry shop with delicious creations

For most, the food samples are enough to constitute a full lunch. Please inform us of any special dietary requirements (vegetarian, diabetic etc). We will try to tailor our tour accordingly.
Please Note: The tour is not suitable for vegans, people with lactose or gluten intolerance, or those with nut allergies.
