Walking Tour Potsdam's Dutch Quarter: Dutch Brick on Brick
Discover Potsdam’s combination of historical flair and contemporary city life. Our culinary walking tour begins at the most impressive of the remaining preserved city gates - the Nauen Gate. The quarter is a bustling center full of life, trams, and street cafés, and you’ll even find the notorious Dutch red brick houses in the local vicinity.
Inside you’ll find a collective spanning a four block radius, which today—with its exceptional architecture—features an eclectic mix of galleries, workshops, pubs, cafés, and small shops. The tour will lead you through the weekly Potsdamer Market to Unity Square with its momentous history, and then on to the Potsdam City Canal.
During this city tour through the back streets of Potsdam, you will explore and learn about the sights, history, and architecture of this cozy town and its Dutch quarter, and all while sampling a variety of culinary specialties. Experience Potsdam through its food, culture, and people!
