Walking Tour Potsdam's Old Town: Aesthetic & Culinary Treats in Potsdam
Join us on a culinary journey through the back streets of Potsdam as our walking food tour leads you through the charming city center with its old gates and grand merchants' houses. The tour begins in the antique Old Market Square, and winds its way through the historic city center of Potsdam to the City Palace and St. Nicholas' Church.
Together we’ll explore the multifaceted Louise Square, the secluded Marly Garden which its cloister and the Church of Peace, and the simple, yet stately, historic downtown area. Plenty of history and stories are to be expected!
We’ll take you off the beaten track as we embark on our gastronomic adventure, during which you’ll taste different culinary specialties, discover city secrets, and relive the history and tales of the old town section of Potsdam, including everything from old Fritz and his architects to the strident citizens and sponsors.
Tasty samples from the following locales:
