Walking Tour Hanover-Nordstadt: Delightful, vibrant, and revolutionary
Join us on a culinary-cultural city tour as we explore Nordstadt and discover its many fascinating features! Beginning at a church with a stone pyramid, we will guide you through the neighborhood and show you historic places such as the popular city park modeled after the English style, as well as a splendid residence which has today become the main hangout for the students of Hanover.
We’ll also explore a former chocolate factory at the epicenter of the revolutionary period of the 1980s, which has today evolved into a peaceful gathering spot offering concerts, readings, and other entertainment programs for the youth.
During our journey of discovery you will sample diverse tastings from our culinary partners and become acquainted with the northern district of Hannover through its food and people.
Delicious food samples from:
- a hearty Polish neighborhood bodega
- an eclectic bistro
- a relaxed restaurant with three levels
- a French pastry shop
- a Turkish food stand
- a soup eatery
- a lively café
For most, the food samples are enough to constitute a full lunch. Please inform us of any special dietary requirements (vegetarian, diabetic, etc.). We will try to tailor our tour accordingly.
Please Note: The tour is not suitable for vegans, people with lactose or gluten intolerance, or those with nut allergies.
