Walking Tour Duesseldorf-Bilk: Internationally varied and family friendly
Discover our culinary tour of the Bilk district, a place that existed even before the founding of Duesseldorf. Today you can find the most versatile restaurants, pubs, and shops in this populous neighborhood of Duesseldorf.

The character of Bilk is a combination of young and old, with a family friendly atmosphere in which neighbors engage with one another and meet with open arms. After the founding of the Heinrich-Heine-University in the late 1960s, this district has also become a popular neighborhood for students.

Find out more about the history of Bilk and its eclectic culture, and get insider tips about upcoming cultural events. You will experience this internationally-minded city by tasting exciting and delicious creations from our culinary partners.

Delicious food samples from:

  • an exceptional bakery
  • a vegetarian snack bar
  • a neighborhood shop
  • an ice cream bar
  • a Turkish deli
  • a Vietnamese street food kiosk
  • a juice and smoothie bar

For most, the food samples are enough to constitute a full lunch. Please inform us of any special dietary requirements (vegetarian, diabetic etc). We will try to tailor our tour accordingly.
Please Note: The tour is not suitable for vegans, people with lactose or gluten intolerance, or those with nut allergies.
