Friedrichshain-Tour
A culinary world tour
We’ll guide you on a walking tour through the rich diversity of Friedrichshain, in the east of Berlin - experience the transformation of this fascinating quarter up close, and sample the foreign delicacies in specially chosen eateries.
The tour begins at the former Stalinallee, one of Europe’s longest architectural monument. The magnificent socialist boulevard has a mixed history, with its Frankfurter Tor towering high over Berlin. Next, we’ll immerse ourselves in the absorbing life of the area, and take in the colourful diversity around Boxhagener Platz. We’ll take you to the oldest house in the district, for example, and then head for the little culinary oases along Simon-Dach-Strasse, the “Party Mile.” Acquire a taste for different worlds during the city tour, and let yourself be seduced by specialities from all around the world.
During this tour, you will learn something about the history and architecture of Friedrichshain, and what the area has to offer. You’ll be able to sample a variety of culinary specialities, and receive specially selected restaurant recommendations. After the tour, you’ll feel like an insider, no longer losing your way in the glut of mainstream gastronomy.
