Walking Tour Berlin-Friedenau: Quiet artists' quarter with a tranquil atmosphere
Come along on a culinary city tour through the charming and peaceful Friedenau neighborhood, whose cozy ambiance is a bit of a phenomenon given that the subway and highway are bordered and intersected by major thoroughfares. The mix of simple country houses, high-rise apartment buildings, and many lovingly planted front gardens dominates the backdrop of Friedenau.

It is also known as the artists' quarter, as many artists, writers, scientists, and politicians lived here. Learn more about the district’s famous residents, discover what’s so special about the arrangement of the streets and squares of Friedenau, and explore the impressive Goerz Courtyards.

In addition to its beautiful old buildings and colorful history, the neighborhood has so many culinary delights to offer. Discover the attractive area of Berlin which even until today has remained a hot tip with the locals, yet still unknown to visitors: Friedenau!

Price:
33 Euro per ticket, 16,50 Euro for children under 12 years

When:
Thursdays and Saturdays, all year round. We highly recommend taking our food tours at the beginning of your visit

Booking deadline:
Until one hour before the tour starts.

Length:
roughly three hours

Meet:
Near the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz U-Bahn subway station (Precise meeting point follows booking.)

Weather:
The tour will take place under all weather conditions.

Dress:
comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended

Includes:
All food samples (enough for a meal) and an eat-the-world district guide.

There is no minimum number of participants.
